Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] ("we") for use of Skipper AI (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least [13 / 16 / 18] years old and able to form a binding contract. Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.

2. The Service and AI output

The Service uses third-party AI models (currently xAI's Grok) to generate text, voice, images, code and websites. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or outdated. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety or other important decisions without checking it yourself. Reminders and notifications are best-effort and may be delayed or missed, so don't use them for anything critical.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and create ("Your Content"). You give us a limited license to host, process and send Your Content to our service providers (including xAI) only to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload. As far as we're concerned, you may use output generated for you (including websites and images), subject to the law and our providers' terms [review xAI's output terms].

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass people, create malware or phishing sites, generate sexual content involving minors, spam (including via SMS or email drafts), try to get around plan limits or security (including the code sandbox and URL fetcher), or overload or attack the Service. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules.

5. Connected services

If you connect Google, Telegram or SMS, you authorise us to access those services for you as described in the app and the Privacy Policy. Their own terms also apply. You can disconnect any time.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Paid plans ([Basic $9/mo, Pro $29/mo]) are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from Usage → Manage billing. You keep the paid plan until [the end of the billing period / immediately], then move to Free.
• If a payment fails, your account may be moved to the Free plan until payment succeeds.
• Plans include usage limits (shown on the Usage page). We may change prices or limits with at least [30] days' notice. Taxes may apply.
• Refunds: [state your refund policy, e.g. no refunds for partial months except where required by law].

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or stop features. We aim for good uptime but don't guarantee it. Free plans may change at any time.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts for breaches of these Terms, non-payment, or legal reasons.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM [or USD $100 if greater]. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Governing law
